Lately it seems like there are more people than ever trying to escape debt and full time work life by investing in volatile stocks, perhaps because of the whole GameStop frenzy, or maybe because people are sick of being dispossessed, quarantined, and out of control of their lives. It's easier to 'YOLO' your life savings into a volatile stock if you feel like you've got nothing to lose and nothing better to do. When faced with the million-dollar question that he wasn't 100% certain about, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant Ogi Ogas played it safe and walked away from potentially doubling his gains, only to find out seconds after his decision that he'd had the correct answer the whole time. If you haven't had the chance to bet on a stock like GME, his reaction is a pretty spot on representation of what it feels like to miss out on significant gains after taking a gamble. But hey, gains are gains, and walking away with $500k ain't so bad!

Presumably, every single writer in Hollywood was at some point in time a teenager. At the very least, they probably inject themselves with teenage blood in order to keep their organs strong and their skin moist. So how in the world do they know nothing about them? Thankfully, "Doctor" Jordan Breeding is oft accused of having a teenage sense of humor, so join him as he tears apart teenage movie tropes that have no grounding in reality.

Video: Kid Confronts Mom Over Belief That Antifa Stormed The Capitol

Rumors of Antifa being behind the January 6th storming of the capitol began almost as quickly as the Pro-Trump rally turned into an insurrection. Many far right conservatives and MAGA gangs seemed to immediately pass the blame to the anti-fascist group - much as they claimed Antifa was behind the BLM protests. Even though the FBI was quick to debunk the rumors, it seems that many followers of right-leaning mainstream media are still eager to deflect blame and weave more conspiratorial drama.

While some of these believers will continue to swim in their seas of confirmation bias, others are apparently grapping with family members who won't stand for the BS. This viral video, in which a kid puts their mom on blast for her insistence that MAGA did no wrong, is a pretty great example of the latter. While it doesn't seem like they've changed their mom's mind, it's pretty entertaining to see mom struggle to explain something that's completely false. The reactions ain't bad either.

Some of you may not be old enough to remember heavy metal band Slipknot, but we're shocked to see that YouTuber Frank Watkinson is hip enough to put out this incredible acoustic cover of their song "Snuff." This rendition is up there with Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' 'Hurt.'

Trump's Spiritual Advisor Inspires Viral Remixes And Memes After Speaking In Tongues

If you're not familiar with President Trump's spiritual advisor Paula White, you're about to be. The central Florida pastor has become quite the viral sensation after an election-related meltdown that featured some impressive speaking in tongues. The video, which is from a Wednesday night "prayer sermon," features White begging "angels from Africa" to help Trump and stop votes from being counted.

The impassioned (or crazed, depending on how you're looking at it) prayer and gibberish quickly became a hit on Twitter, where it inspired many users to create their own remixes of the session. While some of them are a bit lewd (WAP, anyone?) others veer towards the innocent and amusing - namely a popular riff that features the famous Vibing Cat meme. While the videos aren't helping ballots get counted any faster, they're definitely a solid respite from from the seriousness of the past couple days. We'll take what we can get.

Twitter Unites In Its Hatred Of Gal Gadot's Star-Studded 'Imagine' Video

In super-cringey Coronavirus news, Gal Gadot seems to have done the unthinkable. After sharing a cringey video of  celebrities singing John Lennon's 'Imagine,' it seems people on Twitter have put down their digital pitchforks to agree on one thing: The video is absolutely terrible.

The cover is comprised of stars such as Amy Adams, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig singing (often poorly) from their manses and gardens. It's a pretty tone deaf attempt at bringing people together, and folks on Twitter were more than happy to share their distaste. If SNL were still operating, maybe we'd get a decent parody. But for now, we're relying on netizens to roast the crap out of the video, and they're doing a damn good job.

CVS is one of the most popular drug store chains in the United States, as well as the subject of tons of memes about theirinsanely long receipts.Beyond seeming like they're responsible for the world's deforestation (go paperless, people), it's also the target of teenage shoplifting sprees, desperately ill individuals, and people who just need a disinterested cashier to talk to. This ten-minute Smosh videoexpertly covers all of the above. And more.

Wendy Williams has been hosting her talk show since 2008 - no small feat for an entertainer. It's to be expected that she would have some slip ups or embarrassing moments. And it just so happens she had one during a recent episode where she chats about football player Odell Beckham Jr.'s arrest warrant. Whatever was brewing inside her decided to make a very audible attempt at saying "How you douhhh" to the whole audience. Williams plays it off, but we saw that lean. And we heard that fart. And we still commend her.

Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, it was revealed that pop star Taylor Swift recently had Lasik surgery. It was also revealed that unbeknownst to Swift, her mother had secretly videotaped her while extremely high on painkillers. Momma Swift bestowed Fallon with the footage and he definitely freaked the songwriter out. The video is actually pretty tame, albeit absolutely hilarious, but can you imagine not knowing what to expect to be aired for millions of people? Terrifying.

Midsommar, this summer's hottest horror film opened last week and has garnered quite a bit of attention. Matt Caron decided to remix the trailer with that of cult classic Wet Hot American Summer, and it's the best thing we've seen all week.
