Twitter Unites In Its Hatred Of Gal Gadot's Star-Studded 'Imagine' Video

In super-cringey Coronavirus news, Gal Gadot seems to have done the unthinkable. After sharing a cringey video of  celebrities singing John Lennon's 'Imagine,' it seems people on Twitter have put down their digital pitchforks to agree on one thing: The video is absolutely terrible.

The cover is comprised of stars such as Amy Adams, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig singing (often poorly) from their manses and gardens. It's a pretty tone deaf attempt at bringing people together, and folks on Twitter were more than happy to share their distaste. If SNL were still operating, maybe we'd get a decent parody. But for now, we're relying on netizens to roast the crap out of the video, and they're doing a damn good job.

CVS is one of the most popular drug store chains in the United States, as well as the subject of tons of memes about theirinsanely long receipts.Beyond seeming like they're responsible for the world's deforestation (go paperless, people), it's also the target of teenage shoplifting sprees, desperately ill individuals, and people who just need a disinterested cashier to talk to. This ten-minute Smosh videoexpertly covers all of the above. And more.

Wendy Williams has been hosting her talk show since 2008 - no small feat for an entertainer. It's to be expected that she would have some slip ups or embarrassing moments. And it just so happens she had one during a recent episode where she chats about football player Odell Beckham Jr.'s arrest warrant. Whatever was brewing inside her decided to make a very audible attempt at saying "How you douhhh" to the whole audience. Williams plays it off, but we saw that lean. And we heard that fart. And we still commend her.

Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, it was revealed that pop star Taylor Swift recently had Lasik surgery. It was also revealed that unbeknownst to Swift, her mother had secretly videotaped her while extremely high on painkillers. Momma Swift bestowed Fallon with the footage and he definitely freaked the songwriter out. The video is actually pretty tame, albeit absolutely hilarious, but can you imagine not knowing what to expect to be aired for millions of people? Terrifying.

Midsommar, this summer's hottest horror film opened last week and has garnered quite a bit of attention. Matt Caron decided to remix the trailer with that of cult classic Wet Hot American Summer, and it's the best thing we've seen all week.

Bottle Cap Challenge Is Inspiring Celebs Like Jason Statham And John Mayer To Flex On Each Other

Our new favorite social media challenge has officially reached viral status thanks to some seriously dexterous celebrities. The Bottle Cap Challenge was started by Taekwondo champion Farabi Davletchin on June 25th. He uploaded a video of himself kicking a loose bottle cap off of a bottle, and challenged Jason Statham, Connor McGregor, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jackie Chan to do the same. Statham finally accepted after John Mayer posted his own video and challenge.

In terms of style, you can see below that Statham is a clear winner - though we're seriously appreciating the rapport between the bald action star and his frequent collaborator, director Guy Ritchie. The filmmaker deserves some serious props for his incredible confidence. We've put together the most popular instances of this social media phenomenon, and we're keeping our eyes peeled for more celebrities that just want to show off. Fingers crossed that Jackie Chan comes through!

A sudden collapse at the Icelandic glacier Breiðamerkurjökull (try to say that ten times fast) left some frightened tourists running for their lives. Huge segments of the glacier were sent plunging into the water, causing a terrifying wave to come rushing towards onlookers. The tourists managed to escapes with their lives, but it's a seriously close call.

People Hated 2018's Youtube Rewind And They Made A Ton Of Memes About it

The internet is collectively screeching at Youtube's arguably cringey release of this year's Youtube Rewind video. The video is supposed to showcase the most viral videos of the year, but many people felt that the most influential people (Stefan Karl Stefansson, PewDiePie) were left out. Many other people found the video to just be lame - a video that seemed to be catering more to the desires of their advertisers than viewers. This sentiment has led to a campaign to make 2018's rewind the site's most disliked video - and has obviously inspired a crapload of memes.

Bill Cosby was convicted yesterday on three counts of sexual assault - a moment that many feel was a long time coming. It's no surprise videos "foreshadowing" the allegations tend to come out of the woodwork at times like these. In this insanely eerie clip from The Cosby Show, Cliff Huxtable's "special" barbeque sauce seems to have a creepily aphrodisiac effect on his guests. After dozens of women have accused the comic of using drugs to aid in assaulting them, the video takes on a much more sinister meaning.
