'Green Goblin' Hovering Over TImes Square Wows the Internet

If you're not a tourist, you probably know by now that going to Times Square is a painful experience. While it's definitely not boring, it's crawling with characters. You've got hawkers, people in costumes, the Naked Cowboy, and, of course, tourists who don't know how to walk. It seems that one brave and technologically inclined New Yorker has come up with a clever solution to avoiding the latter - using a hoverboard to rise above the hubbub.

Twitter user Rex Chapman shared footage of this magical mode of transportation yesterday, and the video quickly went viral. Not because of the technology, but because the mystery rider looks an awful lot like Green Goblin, a well-known villain from the Spider-Man universe. Despite the millions of views, the wannabe villain's identity is still unknown. Which is a shame, because we'd like to thank them for a) making Time Square cool for about 10 seconds, and B) proving that NYC really is back. Here's hoping we get another sighting.

You know how you hated learning square dancing in gym class? Well, now you have a good reason. Henry Ford forced schools to teach swinging your pardner round so he could fight against jazz (which he thought was invented by the Jews?).

A twenty-second clip of someone ending a livestream they mistakenly left running sounds boring as hell—who would want to watch that? But when it's Snoop Dogg doing something (anything, really), the rules on what makes for good content go out the window. Snoop's effortless charm makes even the most mundane gaffs worth watching.

Also…Snoop Dogg is a streamer?

Marvel Dropped The First Trailer For 'Eternals' & Twitter's Wondering Where They've Been This Whole Time

After a couple months of exciting Phase 4 teasers (Black Widow, Loki), Marvel has dropped another exciting full-length trailer that delivers an epic sneak peek at November's Eternals. Until now, this action film was known by us as "the movie that made Kumail Nanjiani repulsively jacked." Thanks to the trailer, we now know that it's also got a star-studded cast, was directed by Nomadland's Chloé Zhao, and is also the movie that made Kumail Nanjiani horrifically and disgustingly jacked.

Jokes aside, the trailer has a lot to offer. We see that the Eternals have been around for thousands of years, and have helped humanity develop life-altering technologies through teaching, but never interfering. You know, until now. The footage lines up well with the official synopsis:

"Marvel Studios' "Eternals" welcomes an exciting new team of Super Heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's oldest enemy, The Deviants. The outstanding ensemble cast includes Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harington plays Dane Whitman."

Game of Thrones fans will celebrate the appearance of the brothers Stark (Richard Madden and Kit Harington) as the Eternal Ikaris and Dane Whitman (who later becomes the Black Knight) respectively. Angelina Jolie stuns as the white-haired Thena. We're probably most excited to see Korean actor Don Lee as Gilgamesh. The burly performer kicked some serious ass in Train to Busan, so we expect to see a lot more of that in an action-packed Marvel movie.

Many Twitter users have been expressing their delight at this gorgeous first look, but there seems to be a pretty common thread to many of the reaction memes: people want to know what the hell the Eternals have been doing this whole time. The trailer makes it really clear that the group of immortals has been watching sh*t go down on Earth for, like, ever. Even when disasters like THANOS (an immortal himself) happened. We've really been enjoying the reactions that make fun of their inaction, but we're pretty sure their logic will be revealed in November. Until then? We're gonna sit back, relax, and enjoy the memes.

When TV Reporter Juliana Mazza began reporting on the dognapping of Titus the pointer, the last thing she expected was to solve the crime in the middle of the broadcast. A doggo got to go home and a journalist got the local news moment of a lifetime. We love to see it.

There are millions of proposal videos out there that showcase some of the most insane ideas from madlads who have a taste for spectacle. @higbogg had a pretty subtle approach and decided to stick the engagement ring into a KFC biscuit because...why not? We're glad he captured the moment on TikTok because his girlfriend's reaction was absolutely priceless. The video has gone so viral that even KFC has congratulated the couple. Who knows, maybe this was all just a ploy to get KFC to cater their wedding.

Many critics out there seem to think online gaming is all about extreme violence and yelling profanity at strangers. Sure, sometimes it can get ugly, but once in a while gamers can share an unexpectedly wholesome moment together in the middle of virtual warfare, and this video clip is a great example of that. After a DayZ crew captures another player, they give the hostage a chance to win them over with a song. The captured gamer unexpectedly busts out a guitar and sings Hang Me, Oh Hang Me with some impressive pipes. Needless to say, the captors are moved enough to free their hostage—they even manage to do a little digital dance during the performance. Gotta love a surprisingly touching moment within a notoriously brutal game.

Somewhere in Lithuania, a rollercoaster car got stuck at a peak. But using the power of momentum, the passengers were able to unstuck themselves by rocking back and forth in unison. Sounds pretty straightforward, but someone set the clip to the tune of 'What is Love,' which makes the video a million times more hilarious.

Sometimes the internet rules. Remember that scene in The Matrix where Neo and Agent Smith are having that epic fight in the subway, and then Neo hits Smith with that iconic finger-punch move in the throat? Well if you've ever wondered what that scene would be like with way more of that special move, wonder no more, because an angel re-edited the scene to bring us this gift of comedy gold.

Who says you need instruments to make music? If you listen closely to your surroundings, the mechanical clanks and clamor of the city are like an urban symphony. Composer and jazz pianist Sam Ross was inspired by an old YouTube video of a noisy AC window unit that sounded like a free jazz drum solo and took it upon himself to elevate the jam with some funky piano and a full backing band. The result is truly epic.
