A lot has pissed us off in 2020. Y'know, the pandemic, racism, unemployment, natural disasters. But through it all, there's one thing people can't seem to let go of. And that's starting emails with "Hope this email finds you well." The near-meaningless phrase verges on insulting. No, this email is not finding me well, Susan. We live in hell!
Earlier this week, Twitter users started meme-ing the well-meaning sentence by showing the world how the email really does find us: miserable, losing our minds, and with very little hope. And speaking as someone behind a computer just trying to stay calm, the memes are extremely relatable.
