Painfully Relatable Jack-O-Lanterns Are Spooky AF (24 Tweets)

The entire internet seems to be leaning into "Spooktober" this year, and the phenomenon is creating some freakishly relatable content. Creative marketing agency Article Group has gotten in on the fun by tweeting some blank Jack-O-Lantern templates with the following caption:

"What's a terrifying thing from your everyday life you'd write on a "painfully relatable jack-o-lantern"? Write your answer on one of these pumpkins. Winner gets a trophy!"

Their followers gleefully obliged. Their contributions are mostly work-related, but some of them are the kind of shudder-worthy experiences that leave us filled with dread. Example: being left on read for three hours. We've put together a selection of our favorites, but you can take on the whole thread right here

'Sleep Paralysis Demon' Is A Twitter Meme Made Up Of Literal Nightmares

If you've ever dealt with sleep paralysis then you'll know that it can be a pretty damn terrifying experience! In case you're unaware of what this phenomenon is, it occurs when your body becomes temporarily paralyzed either while you're falling asleep or when you wake up. During this time, you're unable to move while still being fully aware of what's going on.

Many people hallucinate demonic-looking creatures for a short amount of time and will experience intense fear. Luckily, it's an extremely common condition and rarely ever indicates any sort of psychiatric problem, so aside from being temporarily petrified, you don't have to worry too much about it.

These people are meme-ing their own sleep paralysis demons to make them seem a little less scary, and a little more amusing!

Do you experience sleep paralysis? If so, what does your demon look like?

22 Twisted & Creepy Takes On Garfield The Cat

There's a bit of a meme rule that's been floating around since as early as 2003. It's called "Rule 34" and it states that if it exists, there's a porn of it. Well, we think there should be another rule regarding the "ruination" of classic cartoons. These creepy renditions of everyone's favorite Monday-hating cat have been popping up largely thanks to horror artist Will Burke. His incredibly creepy drawings of Garfield stalking Jon went viral, and have since inspired similar pieces from many artists. We've rounded up a bunch of creepy examples for your viewing displeasure.
