Feast Your Eyes On These Stunning Historically Accurate Disney Illustrations

Disney and history lovers will appreciate these stunning illustrations from Deviantartist Wickfield. Artist Nina S. has painstakingly drawn everyone's favorite Disney characters wearing garb that is historically correct. It's interesting how close Disney has come to accuracy in some cases (Merida, Mulan) and how completely off they were in others.

Star Wars Meets Calvin & Hobbes In These Adorable Mashup Comics

Illustrator Brian Kesinger may have made a name for himself with his illustration work at Walt Disney Studios, but it's his work outside of the movie business that really gets fans going. His steampunk art has been his most successful, featuring whimsical cephalopods and frilly fashions - but our favorite series of his combines the Star Wars universe with Calvin and Hobbes.

Cute and funny comics mashup combining Star Wars with Calbin and Hobbes, Brian Kesinger.

Professional dog illustrator Lili Chen has created tons of animal infographics to describe the global differences between breeds. While she's illustrated some cats and birds, we're partial to her area of expertise: doggos. She's even created a super fun interactive map to chart their countries of origin. We've included some of our favorite of her infographics in this post, but be sure to follow her on Instagram and Facebook to enjoy more of her amazing work.

27 Strange and Oddly Soothing Satirical Illustrations From Anton Gudim

There's something about these comics and drawings that I find to be so incredibly soothing. Maybe it's the washed out muted color scheme, the lack of dialogue, or the incredibly relaxed facial expressions on the characters.

It all comes together with the context to create this oddly soothing yet foreboding feeling.
