Some people say that if at first you don't succeed, you should try and try again. Some of these fiery mistakes definitely challenge the logic behind that saying. That said, we're inclined to give everyone here an E for "effort" - even if it's just for providing us with such excellent schadenfreude.

As long as social media has existed, women have been the unwilling recipients of cringey, creepy solicitations, and more recently - graphic, unwanted imagery. And as new social media sites and apps are becoming popular, the messages are multiplying. Fortunately many women are not afraid to SHUT. IT. DOWN. These are their stories.

One of our favorite pastimes is admiring the cringe explosion that is old people using social media. Twitter user @dogwithablog_69 has made all of this a lot easier with this Twitter thread of the elderly and technologically ignorant completely abusing Facebook's cheerful status banners. The collection is impressive, a very worthwhile way of getting your Monday procrasturbation on. 

Cats the movie has gotten some seriously horrible reviews. How does someone even make a movie this bad? We don't know either. Have you heard a single person say anything good about it at all? We haven't. 

But at the end of the day, while the movie was clearly god-awful, at least we get these hilarious reviews out of it!

We're not sure who is more to blame: the people that actually immortalized these images on their bodies, or the so-called tattoo artists that changed these peoples lives forever. Either way, these photos of terrible tattoos are pretty much guaranteed to shock and entertain you - they might even make you lose your lunch. The cringe is real.
