KFC's Dating Sim Has Twitter Both Horny & Confused

KFC announced yesterday that they are releasing a dating sim game on Steam and people on Twitter are responding both incredulously and lustfully at the news. The game, called I Love You Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator, is set for a September 24th release, and features Japanese-style animation, as well as an unsettlingly hot depiction of a young Colonel Sanders.

According to KFC, the game features multiple hours of gameplay, recipes, and a secret ending. Players will be able to choose one of nine characters to attend culinary school with the fried chicken zaddy, in the hopes of becoming his business partner or, uh, lover. We'll admit that the premise of this game is somewhat disturbing, but we're both intrigued and weirdly into the animated Sanders. According to these Twitter reactions, we're definitely not alone.

Apple Roasted For Its Bougie Instructions On Cleaning The 'Apple Card'

Fancy things require over-the-top, bougie care instructions, apparently. At least for the Apple Card anyway.

Apple published instructions for keeping your Apple credit card lookin' shiny the other day and people couldn't help but notice how ridiculous some of the steps are. No leather, denim, or loose change can come in contact with your card if you want to keep it from getting discolored.

Got it, soooo just never have it touch anything then...?

Simon Cowell's 'New Look' Is Getting Roasted & Toasted On Twitter

We may not be medical professionals but we definitely know when someone has gotten work. It's baffling that someone in the spotlight would undergo serious cosmetic procedures and think their fans wouldn't notice, but it keeps happening. Yesterday, after photos from the red carpet were released, Simon Cowell went from being a judge to being judged - and harshly. The notoriously cranky English judge of America's Got Talent has been on our television screens since 2001, and many fans were shocked at his transformation.

It's pretty obvious to most people that Cowell has gotten work done, though he's attributing his new look to his vegan diet and weight loss. Perez Hilton seems to think otherise: "I'm going with: new veneers, fillers in the cheek, Botox in the forehead and a possible eye job too! What do U think of the new Simon Cowell???" We're inclined to agree. And judging by these hilarious reactions to the dude's face, so is Twitter.

CNN News Anchor Chris Cuomo Throws A Fit After Being Called 'Fredo'

CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo is being criticized after a video surfaced of him threatening someone with violence for calling him "Fredo."

"Fredo" is an insult for an Italian person meaning "weak brother," and refers to the character Fredo Corleone from The Godfather.

The criticism came after the video was published, when Cuomo asserted that the word "Fredo" is comparable to the N-word for Italian-Americans. Many Italian-Americans themselves were left highly confused by the assertion, and people on both sides of the political spectrum, including Donald Trump, had no shortage of criticism for him.

As we're all aware, using an insult based on one's ethnicity is never okay, but we think Cuomo may have gone a little too far in comparing the word "Fredo" to the N-word.

Scroll down to see some of the internet's various spicy memes and reactions to the incident!

All The Best Memes & Reactions To Disney's 'Home Alone' Remake Announcement

Okay, Disney. We have one question for you. Is nothing SACRED?! The entertainment overlords announced yesterday that they're planning to remake the Home Alone films, and people have had a lot of feelings on what we believe to be a disastrous and downright disrespectful idea. Even Macaulay Culkin decided to weigh in on the announcement, with a photo of what Home Alone would look like today. His self-deprecating and relatable post made a huge impression on Twitter, prompting fans to demand a reboot featuring the real Kevin McCallister. Other fans condemned any remake at all. We're honestly in that boat.

'Galarian Weezing' Is A New Pokemon That Resembles A Pretentious Bong

The official Pokemon YouTube channel just released a new trailer for Pokemon Sword and Shield, and with it some new rival Pokemon characters. One of them, known as "Galarian Weezing," is a redesign of the classic Weezing. The new character wears two giant top hats and sports poison green "mustaches."

People on Twitter have been poking fun at the new character, comparing it to some sort of 20th century fat cat, a bong, and Doug Dimmadome - an antagonist in Nickelodeon TV show The Fairly OddParents. Clearly there's a lot to make fun of here.

Airline's 'Backless Seats' Controversy Is Stirring Up Some Golden Twitter Parodies

When Twitter user Matthew Harris tweeted a sketchy photo of a woman sitting in a backless seat on an airplane, it sparked a barrage of parodies and roasts.

The airline, EasyJet, was quick to reply on Twitter, asking Harris to take down the photo so that they could "best assist" his complaints.  People on Twitter, however, weren't falling for the budget British airline's BS, and began creating parodies of the tweet.

Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately, depending on your own personal opinion), it's been reported that these backless seats were actually inoperable on the flight and passengers were not permitted to use them.

However, we've gotta wonder why EasyJet was so quick to get defensive in the Twitter thread. Very suspicious indeed...

Reactions To Lena Dunham Kissing Brad Pitt On The Lips

Lena Dunham had a lot of nerve when she attempted to kiss Brad Pitt on the lips without his consent at the premier of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which they both star in.

Beside the fact that the move was just straight up awkward and cringey AF, people on the internet have been accusing Dunham of sexual assault, claiming that if the roles were reversed, she and her fans would be up in arms over it, labeling it a "Me Too" situation.

Dunham already didn't have the best reputation with the internet as is, but this little stunt she pulled has really been the icing on the cake!

'The Office' Is Leaving Netflix And People Are Not Handling It Well At All

Netflix tweeted yesterday that The Office, America's most beloved TV show, is leaving to be a part of NBC's own streaming service and people are not happy about it in the slightest. We can't really blame them, given the volume of new streaming services that the average person is now required to purchase in order to watch their favorite shows. Fortunately though, Netflix will keep the show until January 2021 so fans have ample time to watch (and re-watch) it to their heart's content!

Here are some of Twitter's reactions to the sad news.

Millennials Apparently Have *No Clue* What A Butter Knife Is, According To This Survey

Oh look, Millennials are back at it ruining everything! A new survey conducted by Porch and tweeted out by Now This News claims that Millennials might be the worst generation at cooking ever, and that nearly 40% don't even know what a butter knife is. Additionally, only about 40% know how to carve a turkey. The horror.

Porch surveyed 750 people of all ages, asking them if they considered themselves to be "good cooks" - just over 60% of Millennials answered yes, while well over 70% of Baby Boomers said the same.

Many on Twitter have pointed out that the reasoning and methods used by the surveyors is heavily flawed - it's almost like hating on Millennials is all just a big marketing ploy to distract us from real problems! Lol nah, that can't be it...

Burger King Just Released 'Real Meals' And People Are Wondering WTF Is Going On With Brands These Days

In a move that's clearly a jab at the McDonald's Happy Meal, Burger King has recently launched "Real Meals" as a part of its #FeelYourWay campaign that aims to raise awareness for mental health issues for Mental Health Awareness Month.

Is this a smart move on their part? When it comes to marketing the brand, we thinks that's a definite yes. Will it actually lead to helping people who deal with mental illnesses? Who knows! We'd love to know what you think on that matter.

And seriously, we have to ask WHAT is going on with brands on social media these days? It seems like after the Wendy's Twitter account made its sassy mark on the world, every single brand wants to get in on that saucy social media action.
