The criminal case against Paul Manafort got a lot more (publicly) interesting yesterday after it became known that he shared polling data with Russian associate Konstantin Kilimnik. This very juicy information is almost rivaled by how the intel was obtained - via a terrible and arguably hilarious fail on the part of Manafort's lawyers. 

It would seem that these attorneys skipped their redacting class. Instead of, you know, using the redact tool on Photoshop, Manafort's brilliant team just placed black boxes over the text. This allows anyone who knows how to copy and post to reveal the information. As can be expected, the blunder was received with a gigantic collective facepalm from people on Twitter. We're just happy for the laughs, and for the Photoshop lesson.

Donald Trump's "Space Force" proposal is officially coming to fruition, according to an announcement made by Vice President Mike Pence this morning. Pence stated that the Pentagon has started the planning process for the Space Force which, if authorized by Congress, will constitute the sixth branch of United States Military.

The announcement comes two months after Trump called for a Space Force on the grounds that the US should have the potential to protect its military dominance in space against the likes of China and Russia, who have begun making their own respective outer-space advancements. Specifically, a Space Force would serve to defend American satellites from attack.

China and Russia are currently looking to "reduce US military effectiveness," Pence said in a report by USA Today.

Don't get too comfortable with the idea of having a Space Force yet, however. The Trump Administration still needs to get approval from Congress in order to receive funding, although Pence appears hopeful that they are gaining support for the plan.

Should the Administration receive the necessary funding, Pence stated in his speech that the Space Force will be completed by 2020, and that a US Space Command will be created beforehand, drawing officers and forces from other current military branches.

It was so bad, in fact, that fans booed throughout the match. It's likely that neither team cared at all about winning, as they both qualified for the knockout round regardless.

These days fast food brands are generally in the news for their hilarious and sassy social media antics. In a way, this is still true for Burger King Russia - the brand just took the fire to a bizarre new level. The social media account for the train restaurant decided it was a good idea to offer a lifetime supply of burgers and 3 million rubles - if they managed to become impregnated by a World Cup soccer player. 

The move was almost immediately criticized by the media, and BK Russia scrambled to take the Facebook post down. This isn't the first time that Burger King Russia was flame-broiled over tasteless and offensive marketing ploys. The chain horrified the world after using the likeness of a controversial 16-year-old rape victim in a promotion. We don't know about you, but it's pretty clear that someone has got to be fired.
