It's rare to find a post from r/AmItheAsshole that results in a resounding “YTA” vote. Most AITA entires are written by people who know full well that they were in the right, and are searching for validation rather than nuanced opinions. But once in a while, you get a gem of a post in which some poor, misguided fool genuinely has no idea that they were totally the a-hole. The following AITA entry about a guy who got mad at his girlfriend for eating one of his eggs is a prime example.

There is a spectrum of pettiness that we are all on, but some people go so above and beyond. Some special petty divas allow the pettiness they had in life to come through beyond the grave. Often this is communicated in the form of wills or inheritances. Who could forget a certain news anchor whose mother only left him $1 in her will? One might think there isn't an act of post-mortem pettiness greater than that, but they would be gravely mistaken.

When faced with annoying hidden fees lurking in the “terms of service” section of every account contract, most people will just begrudgingly pay the damn $50 and move on with their lives. But a small percentage of impressively spiteful people refuse to let them win. u/fredsam25 is just one example of the sort of person who will go well out of their way just to stick it to the man , even if it takes several years.
