More often than not, if you make a meme about the election, or the president, it's going to come off as incredibly cringey. But it's even worse when you see the meme handiwork of boomers getting super political. There's a smugness and ignorance to these memes that makes them nearly unbearable. But we like pain. President Trump is getting the royal Twitter roasting treatment after displaying a shocking lack of geographical knowledge last night. The President was speaking to the Shale Insight Conference in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania when he started speaking about his confidence regarding winning New Mexico.
"You know why we're going to win New Mexico? Because they want safety on their border. And they didn't have it. And we're building a wall on the border of New Mexico and we're building a wall in Colorado. We're building a beautiful wall, a big one that really works -- you can't get over, you can't get under. And we're building a wall in Texas. And we're not building a wall in Kansas, but they get the benefit of the walls that we just mentioned. And Louisiana's incredible."
This comment went viral after The Hill shared a clip on Twitter - prompting many people to respond to the fact that it would appear that Donal Trump was under the impression that Colorado bordered Mexico. Unsurprisingly, Twitter has not been kind to POTUS regarding this flub, but man, we're learning that people really love to edit maps.

Donald Trump has apparently recently expressed interest in purchasing Greenland with "varying degrees of seriousness," according to the Wall Street Journal.
Yes, you read that correctly - Greenland, the massive autonomous Danish territory northeast of Canada with a population of just 56,000.

CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo is being criticized after a video surfaced of him threatening someone with violence for calling him "Fredo."
"Fredo" is an insult for an Italian person meaning "weak brother," and refers to the character Fredo Corleone from The Godfather.
The criticism came after the video was published, when Cuomo asserted that the word "Fredo" is comparable to the N-word for Italian-Americans. Many Italian-Americans themselves were left highly confused by the assertion, and people on both sides of the political spectrum, including Donald Trump, had no shortage of criticism for him.
As we're all aware, using an insult based on one's ethnicity is never okay, but we think Cuomo may have gone a little too far in comparing the word "Fredo" to the N-word.
