Twitter has a tradition where every Thursday users post inspirational and reflective quotes under the hashtag #thursdaythoughts, we thought it might be nice to share the best of these to give us that extra push we need to get through the week.
Quotes like this can be extremely overused and come across as a little cliche, but we find that there's some importance to even the slightest degree of self-reflection.
This is Thursday Thoughts which means there's only one more day to go.
It's true: a shower is an incubator of wisdom. At some point we wash off the thin film of accumulated worries -- rational and completely outside our control -- and become these temporarily clean slates, with room to entertain original, creative ideas otherwise drowned out to the point of forgetting they were even there. Pro Tip: make it a beer shower, bro. Gotta wash all those deep thoughts and existential angst and shit down with that dear old friend named ABV 5.7%.
What makes the shower a place of such creative enlightenment? We may never know. All we know is that Tetris is the perfect example of showing how trying to fit in makes you disappear.
