21 Sad Souls Reveal Their Social Media Lies

Social media is wonderful in a lot of ways: it allows us to keep in touch with our loved ones, and share our creative endeavors, hopes, and dreams. But there's always a dark side. The option to share has now become almost compulsory, and there's often a sense of having to keep up with your network. If your life is anything but perfect - you can at least try to make it appear so. These stories really prove that these facades can be unhealthy - and, rarely, a way to keep yourself safe.

This Comic Perfectly Sums Up What's It Like Being Poor

It's hard to accurately sum up what it's like to be truly poor unless you've actually experienced it. People will always tell you to stop spending your money on frivolous things that you're not even buying, or to just get a better job. It's easy to say those things when you've never had to struggle financially before!

These comics show what your rich friends think being poor is, versus what it actually means for you and your life.

People Are Adopting Pitbulls For This Majorly F*cked Up Reason

Pitbulls have had quite the bad rap in recent history for supposedly being more "aggressive" than other dog breeds. Of course, this reputation is completely unwarranted, but many people still believe that pitbulls are a danger to society and that they need to be eliminated from the face of the earth at all cost. Thus, the Twitter hashtag #PitbullDropOff was born, which people are using to tell others that they've adopted a pitbull just to have it put down and therefore "protect" society. Needless to say, the whole thing is extremely messed up.

Be sure to share this post to bring awareness to this issue!
