The Internet Reacts: That Ridiculous Pepsi Ad Starring Kendall Jenner

By now you've probably heard about the horror show that was Kendall Jenner's "woke" Pepsi ad. In the 2 minute and forty second clip, the young, white and attractive model is seen joining a very diverse and "artsy" protest in the streets of...Bangkok. The leggy star walks with the crowd until they encounter a wall of cops blocking their way. Kendall proceeds to gift a stern police officer a can of Pepsi. As he cracks it (and a smile) the crowd erupts in cheers.

Right.

The advertisement, which was released on April 4th, 2017, has since been pulled after criticism was unleashed on PepsiCo and its hired talent. Does the company really want to send the message that conflicts such as Black Lives Matter can be solved if privileged white women offer cops soda? It all feels very trivializing. The internet agreed - here is what netizens had to say on the matter.

People Are Trolling the Shit Out of Donald Trump After His St. Patrick's Day Tweet

Donald Trump's kept it pretty low key on Twitter in recent days. That didn't stop him from penning a little St. Paddy's Day sentiment though. If only he'd spellchecked before sending it off though. Then again, would we expect anything less than this from the guy with a wide-reaching, well-developed reputation already for spelling shit in his own language incorrectly?

'Glum George Lucas' A Satirical Look Into the Mind of George Lucas and What Star Wars Could Have Been

Before Star Wars was ripped from his wonderful creative grasp by that fascist mouse, Lucas was well on his way to making Star Wars better than anyone had ever dreamed possible. A long line of brilliant changes and directorial decision making had brought the series to new creative heights. The brilliant character design of Jar Jar Binks and intuitive dialogue had us excited for more of what Lucas had to offer. Decisions like retroactively making Greedo shoot first only added depth to existing characters.

'Glum George Lucas' is a wonderful insight into what could have been had Disney not seized the reigns of Star Wars.

You ready? We're almost as excited as young Anakin over here.
