Some Neckbeard Removed The Women From 'The Last Jedi' And Is Getting Destroyed By Fans And Stars

Did you hate The Last Jedi? Did you think that maybe it could stand to lose some of the "girlz powah" or "silly stuff?" Turns out there's a Last Jedi edit for that. Pedestrian TV reported Monday that an anonymous user uploaded a "chauvinist" cut of the latest Star Wars film to the Pirate Bay. The 46 minute cut removes almost all women, with the exception of Leia Organa Solo, and replaces important moments for women with men.

Just take in this neckbeard-y list of alterations that were made to the original film:

  • "Cut out most shots showing female fighters/pilots and female officers commanding people around/having ideas."
  • "NO HALDO! She simply doesn't exist. Her whole subplot doesn't exist. The Kamikaze is carried out by Poe. ( = Poe dies.)"
  • "Leia never scolds, questions nor demotes Poe. He is a respected and very skilled high-ranking member of the resistance."
  • "When there's a scene where a woman is cut in making some important statement that can be substituted by another statement by a guy, then she gets cut out. Works pretty well actually."
  • "Wookie eats the Porg, or at least isn't interrupted in trying to do so."
  • "No green milk.

This dude has such a ridiculous grudge on women that it's almost hilarious. People on Twitter, including director Rian Johnson and actors Mark Hamill and John Boyega, seem to agree.

This Photographer Came Face To Face With A Deadly Predator And The Results Were Heartwarming

Wildlife photographer Paul Nicklen was on assignment in Antarctica when he came across the area's most deadly predator - the aggressive leopard seal. While leopard seals generally reserve their bloodlust for their favorite food - penguins - they have been known to kill humans. Nicklen was well aware of this aggressive streak, and feared for his life. But what happened next was both shocking and absolutely heartwarming.

Amazing wildlife story about national geographic photographer and leopard seal.

This Family's Nightmarish Photoshop Fail Has The Internet In Stitches

One mom's disaster of a family photo shoot has gone completely viral after she shared the haunting and hilarious photos on Facebook. Pam Zaring posted the insane images after paying over two hundred dollars for a "professional" shoot from Lesa Hall. From her account:

"Ok. This is NOT a joke. We paid a photographer, who claimed to be a professional, $2-250 for a family photo shoot. Please see these FOR REAL photos she delivered to us....She said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos. Feel free to share 😂😂😂 I literally have not laughed this hard in YEARS!!!!! You can't make this stuff up.....again, this is NOT a joke - final product 🤣"

The Facebook gallery has racked over 300k shares from places as far as Morocco. It's become such a hit that there's even a parody account for the photographer, and people are starting to wonder if the whole thing is an elaborate marketing hoax. We really, really hope it's not.

Instagrammers Are Callously Taking Selfies In Front Of This Dangerous Erupting Volcano

The fiery eruption of Mt. Agung in Bali has forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes as lava, ash and carbon dioxide pose deadly threats. Unfortunately, Instagramming tourists seem to lack empathy for the island's residents, instead opting to gleefully take tacky and insensitive selfies and photos in front of the dramatic clouds of ash.

Aspiring yogis and svelte women in barely-there bikinis (we've left most of these out) seem eager show off their prowess and skin in front of the potentially deadly disaster. It's incredibly insulting to the residents whose homes are in danger, and raises some serious questions about empathy and entitlement in the age of social media.

This Japanese Grandmother Has Completely Won Us Over With Her Wacky Self-Portraits

Earlier this week, Bored Panda shared the story of Kimiko Nishimoto, an 89 year old woman with a penchant for taking some seriously incredible self-portraits. The Japanese grandmother is relatively new to photography (she's been practicing for 17 years) but as you can see, she definitely has a knack for the art. Nishimoto's lively and humorous work is so popular that electronics giant Epson will be exhibiting her work in Tokyo. We won't be able to make it to Japan for the big show, so this collection of quirky "selfies" will have to do.

Funny self-portraits from Japanese grandmother who learned photography, 89 years old, learned in her 70s.
