Human-shaped spirit caught on camera, or just another sh*tty, potentially photoshopped picture? These are some of the reactions via Lex 18's Facebook page so far:

NBC's Lex18 reports

"The crash occurred 5:30 Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 near Stanton. Officials tell LEX 18 the person on the motorcycle was the only person involved and he was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Saul Vazquez, the man who took the photo, posted it on Facebook and said he took it from the cab of his truck. It has since been shared over 16,000 times in just 10 hours.

Lots of people are drawing their own conclusions about the photo, but either way it’s causing a huge conversation on social media. LEX 18 reached out to Vazquez, all he would he would say is that the photo has not been altered."

It's hard to grasp that it's been a year since Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata passed away due to a bile duct tumor. Genyo Takeda ('Technology Fellow' at Nintendo) summed up how Iwata's journey was so far from over beautifully, in his eulogy:

“Please know, however, that the seeds you have planted, and the plants that have sprouted will put forth small flowers as they bring smiles to the faces of people around the world, blossom into a grand flower bigger than even you, our leader, Iwata-san,” Takeda shared. “Together with Miyamoto and others of our generation, we swear in our hearts that we will continue our efforts so that, someday, we can report and present to you the blossoming of these flowers. May you continuously watch over and guide us managers, our employees and your family.”

Iwata's passing inspired a wealth of heartwarming fan art dedications like these:

You will be missed, RIP Satoru Iwata.

TorrentFreak reported that Blizzard has filed a lawsuit against Germany-based cheating company Bossland (a company that Blizzard also sued over World of Warcraft "buddy bots") for an Overwatch cheating tool called "Watchover Tyrant."

"Defendants' sale and distribution of the Bossland Hacks in the United States has caused Blizzard to lose millions or tens of millions of dollars in revenue, and to suffer irreparable damage to its goodwill and reputation," Blizzard said in its complaint.

"Moreover, by releasing 'Overwatch Cheat' just days after the release of Overwatch, Defendants are attempting to destroy or irreparably harm that game before it even has had a chance to fully flourish," it added.

"Defendants not only know that their conduct is unlawful, but they engage in that conduct with the deliberate intent to harm Blizzard and its business," the developer said. "Blizzard is entitled to monetary damages, injunctive and other equitable relief, and punitive damages against Defendants,” the complaint reads."

The loathing runs very deep here, guys. Just last week, Marvel released this year’s Spider-Gwen Annual, an 'alternate-reality series' that portrays a black female Captain America as a hero. The villain's known by everyone as the Mental Organism Designed as America’s King, or more crisply, “M.O.D.A.A.K.”

M.O.D.A.A.K. wails incessantly about 'foreign filth' and how he wants to squeeze 'n crush America in his allmighty powerful hands...

Readers have already been quick to note the glaring similarities between the comic's villain and Donald Trump himself:

Judging by Latour's Twitter feed, which touts a marked dedication to a hatred targeted at Trump, you've gotta think the talented Marvel artist really was inspired enough out of a passionate hatred to create a villain that exists solely to make fun of Trump.

The statue will be inscribed with the words ‘I’m just a kid from Brooklyn’, a line of dialogue from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Captain America, Marvel just announced plans to unveil an enormous bronze statue of Captain America at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Cheers, Cap'n.

The Nostalrius debate reached its head a while ago when a sh*toload of Vanilla server martyrs banded together in a wild mob to throw themselves off a cliff in a staged outcry of unrest over Blizzard's decision to shut down Nostalrius. See video:

Well, Blizzard, expectedly so, is busy making final preparations with Legion; but that didn't stop them from putting aside some time to play through a dungeon on Nostalrius. Here's what the WoW team of execs had to say about their experience:

“We got to play on the server for a little while,” he divulges. “It's really cool, they did an incredible job of building an experience that feels classic and authentic and that's incredibly hard to do. The painstaking effort it takes to research old videos to try and figure out what the data was because it doesn't exist anymore so you have to pull it out of the nether to put that experience together.

“The leadership team got together and we did a Stratholme run. John Hight [production director on WoW] was a Hunter and had a level eight pet and pulled half the instance, wiped us a few times. It was like, ‘why is the whole instance pulling? Oh it's your level eight pet!’ J [Allen Brack, VP and executive producer] was our priest, he’s like [casting buffs] and then sit and drink for 45 seconds, cast again, sit and drink,” he chuckles. “It's funny, we laugh at all that but it was a very moving experience because it's nostalgic and we all have very fond memories of playing that, that's when we were hardcore and all that stuff.”

Game director Tom Chilton also went on to offer up his take on Legacy servers:

“I think it's something that interests Blizzard and we've always had the thought that it would cool to do a classic server or a Burning Crusade server or a Lich King server or whatever.

“It's difficult to pull off and the real cost in terms of our ability to do stuff for the existing game or our ability to do other new projects would be meaningfully affected if we decided to put our resources behind that. Unfortunately, it's not just the push of a button.”
