One of the greatest pranks I've seen to date, staged by some skullduggerous pro athletes on one of their teammates. You've gotta' hand it to Derek Bell for not having a mental breakdown when Joe Carter and Dave Winfield cruised out on the field to 'raffle' off Bell's car for Fan Appreciation Day.

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher J.J. Putz was winding up to throw a pitch to New York Mets infielder Justin Turner when the Chase Field audio tech guy prematurely started playing a clip of "Kickstart My Heart" by Mötley Crüe. Not only that, he played it loud, scaring the pants off of just about everyone in the stadium. Mets play-by-play announcer Gary Cohen said it sounded like a loud "mooing" sound.

Möötley Crüe, anyone?

Brewers Pitcher Matt Garza went and lobbed a supremely controversial mansplanation when he aimed to explain to actress Jessica Chastain on Twitter, what his opinion of birth control was. This followed after she tweeted concerns over the implications of the Senate repealing Obamacare on women having access to birth control.
