Always looking for something to protest, members of the simply awful Westboro Baptist Church lined up outside of a Foo Fighters concerts in Kansas City, MO Aug. 22.

They didn't exactly say what their specific problem was, but they generally hate just about everything, so the Foo Fighters worked for an opportunity to test out their hateful signage.

Dave Grohl and company decided not to take it sitting down.

Well, they stayed seated, but the band members brought out a rather loud sound system and drowned out the jeers of the protesters with the sweet sounds of Rick Astley.

And all praise be to this guy:

And after that, we're sure Dave Grohl retreated to the comfort of his incredible rock star tour throne.

God on Facebook, that is. The comedian behind God's very own Facebook page dropped for ad space in Topeka, KS, home of none other than the Westboro Baptist Church, everyone's favorite virulent homophobes. It may not win any converts or change anybody's opinions at the end of the day, but it's just so damned fun to mess with the WBC, and that makes it all worth it.

In light of the tragic events of May 20, 2013, when a massive tornado struck Moore, OK and killed at least 24 people, the Westboro Baptist Church, perpetually high in the standings for 'Worlds Biggest Scumbags,' made the website GodHatesOklahoma.com.

A hacker known only as The Jester wasn't having any of WBC's crap though. He stole the domain name right out of the church's hands, made the above image of Jesus flipping the birdy as the site's welcome screen, and redirects it after 5 seconds to this page.

Well done, Jester. Well. Done.
