It's true, it's really hard to tell...
Trump Tweets are a defining element in Donald Trump's presidency, as it provides insight into the Commander-In-Chief's thinking, or lack-thereof.
Our friend Kanye West is in the news more than ever right now. He performed his infamous new song "I Love it" on Saturday Night Live over the weekend with Lil Pump wearing a Perrier bottle costume, and wore a MAGA hat while giving a pro-Trump speech that didn't actually make it on air. Since then, people have been meme-ing Kanye to absolute heck.
Recently Donald Trump tweeted the word "TREASON?" in light of the New York Times op ed that was published on Wednesday. The article was supposedly written by someone within the Trump Administration, calling themselves part of the "resistance."
After Trump's "treason" tweet, people on Twitter began making their own amusing parodies, which you can read below!
The President tweeted that Melania is back home after undergoing kidney surgery last week - only, he misspelled her name as "Melanie." The tweet was promptly deleted and reposted with the correct spelling, but that didn't stop the consequent screenshots and relentless roasts.
One does not simply become president, without generating some Trump memes.
15 Trump memes mixed in with about a dozen or so Trump GIFs -so as to cushion the impact some of these may have on our more sensitive readers. Whether you love him or hate him, you've gotta admit that Donald Trump is incredibly meme material.
Need more Trump memes? There's an abundance of Trump memes available at your disposal, such as Trump's Space Force memes or Hilarious Trump Space force memes which was related to announcing that America will be militarizing space, or the awkward memes of Trump staring at a solar eclipse or Memes of Awkward Obama/Trump Interactions. Or wax nostalgic with photoshop memes of Trump's Executive Orders which were changed to look like a variety of hilarious scenarios that Trump has just signed. And for a simpler, more sophisticated laugh, try the Trump and Kim memes that really have a nice subtle nuance to their humor.
Donald Trump seems to be a magnet for being the subject of memes, and it really is not slowing down. Not much anyone can do to stop it so might as well sit back and laugh, regardless of where you stand politically
Kanye West recently tweeted support for Donald Trump, calling him his "brother." The media subsequently spoke out, saying that Kanye was stuck in a "sunken place" in reference to the movie Get Out. The series of tweets from the entire ordeal are...odd. No one truly knows what's going on in Kanye's brain.
Say what you will about the President, but there's no denying that his Twitter habits have given us hours of entertainment. His latest Twitter escapade was regarding Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' issue. On Saturday President Trump tweeted "Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named "Man (Person) of the Year," like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!" Parodies from comedians such as Julia Louis Dreyfuss and Billy Eichner began pouring in, along with riffs on New Yorker cartoons. Here are some of our favorites.
And on a side note, here are some of our favorite tremendous Trump memes that are nearly unbelievable.
Donald Trump's amazingly awkward water swig is apparently the gift that keeps on giving. The Photoshop Battle subreddit tackled a funny snapshot of the moment, incorporating everything from panpipes to Harry Potter. We've included our favorites, but there are loads more on the official thread.
Lots to unpack here, so maybe ease into it by first starting off with some light Trump Memes, and then progressing to this list of "good stuff".
SNL writer Josh Patten is trolling the President hard. The writer and comedian announced his new project "Responding To Trump Tweets Like They Were Texts" on July 16th, and we can't get enough of it. Patten's "text" responses are brief and colloquial, providing contrast that helps highlight just how over the top and exclamatory the President's tweets can be. Patten has declined to comment on the project, but we're definitely hoping to see more of these "text exchanges" in the future.
Donald Trump's kept it pretty low key on Twitter in recent days. That didn't stop him from penning a little St. Paddy's Day sentiment though. If only he'd spell checked before sending it off though. Then again, would we expect anything less than this from the guy with a wide-reaching, well-developed reputation already for spelling shit in his own language incorrectly?
Yeah, yeah, we know. Here are some Trump Memes to smooth it over.
