Youtube user TVWXMAN32 is a 25-year veteran storm chaser who made a serious rookie mistake: he missed the highway exit he needed to take to get away from the tornado that hit Tupelo, MS on Monday. Faced with no alternative, he drove his car into the low point on a nearby field, hunkered down, and prayed. Despite the tornado's outer circulation passing right over his car, he survived unharmed.
TVWXMAN32 did exactly what you're supposed to do when in his situation, but his mistake was getting himself into the situation in the first place.
