Twitter user @electrapng is responsible for our new favorite weird meme trend. On October 12th, they uploaded 4 bottom text-less Chuck Norris memes, with the message "Hi everyone I wanted to tell you that Chuck Norris memes are 10x funnier when you crop out the bottom caption."
They were right. A few other users pitched in with their own memes, and we're hoping to see more. Nothing like a little surreal Chuck Norris humor to brighten your day.
Most people thrive on memes that are relatable; memes about dogs, cats, dating, or school. These memes are pretty much the opposite. Surreal memes are a subgenre of ironic memes - and while they may not make sense, they're definitely visually and intellectually stimulating.
