PETA has a long history of rubbing the world the wrong way, and earlier this week they took things way too far. The so-called animal rights organization denigrated fallen hero Steve Irwin to further their cause and the internet rose up in anger. In the words of The Dude, this aggression will not stand, man. As if PETAreally needed more publicity, right? Nevertheless, the controversial animal rights organization has made headlines once again for slandering the beloved crocodile hunter Steve Irwin. On February 22nd, Google displayed an Irwin-related Doodle in honor of his birthday. PETA took to Twitter to criticize the Doodle, claiming that Irwin passed away while harassing wild animals who were simply minding their own business. As a result, the internet banded together to absolutely roast the crap out of PETA, and the results are pretty great.
