In today's episode of Millennial's are Ruining Everything Good in the World, we're examining the Millennial's impact on the mayonnaise industry. Philadelphia Magazine published an article recently in which the writer, Sandy Hingston, claims that mayo has gone the way of the dinosaurs. "It's too basic for contemporary tastes," she writes. "Good ol' mayo has become the Taylor Swift of condiments."
Predictably, Millennials everywhere are expressing their rage with the mayo-hating sentiment. In other words, they're bringing the spice - get it? 'Cause old people don't like spicy condiments...okay, we'll stop.
Refinery29 probably made a bad call with publishing this article in their series entitled Money Diaries, which chronicles how the Millennial woman budgets her "hard-earned" money. In this particular installment, R29 interviews a 21-year-old college student and marketing intern living in New York City who makes $25 per hour and can somehow still afford to have a little extra cash left over after she pays the bills.
Sounds like a pretty typical Millennial life, right? Well sure, until you learn that said marketing intern has rich parents who pay her rent, phone bill and health insurance costs. Needless to say, the internet is absolutely raging about this spoiled rich girl's lavish lifestyle.
Anyone who has played an MMO knows how treasured your account is to you, the sheer amount of time sunk into it makes it really special.
In addition, anyone who has ever had their account hacked knows the pain of losing all of your resources and gold, regardless if the account is recovered.
But even with that considered. This meltdown is something else and a new level of self absorbed.
