Kinda glad that the Megalodon shark went extinct...
Reddit collectively decides on new meme subject matter that will inevitably be all over the internet shortly after. Although the memes might come and go quickly, they almost always have a lasting impact on the meme-iverse. This time they've decided on shark memes, which we're really not complaining about because who the heck doesn't like sharks.
Sometimes the meme universe doesn't deliver properly. When the memes aren't weird enough, funny enough, or present enough, people tend to start forcing their own. This seems to be the case with the very bizarre (and very committed) meme page "Throwing Car Batteries Into the Ocean." The name really says it all. The memes are funny in that they are absolutely absurd - we know that the page is not actually promoting polluting the ocean. But the idea of that promotion is pretty damn amusing.
You know all those Insta posts where girls are holding up glasses of wine and "living their best lives?" This amazing Instagram account puts a very bro-y spin on a classic Insta trope. We're loving it.
