Us early '90s kids are positively freaking out right now about the fact that we're closing in on the 2010s decade and the '90s will have been nearly 30 years ago for many of us. Time really does seem to fly by faster the older you get.

If there's one thing kids have no lack of, it's imagination. Hell, they create entire languages with one another. So when @Jon_Bois asked his Twitter followers to share "the most outrageous lie another kid ever told you when you were a kid," the results, while incredibly entertaining, were hardly surprising to us. Of course a kid would tell his friends he spent his absent days fighting Shredder of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame. And of course people believed him. Imaginative and gullible kids are truly a blessing to the the world. And here's a crap load of their amusing lies in one convenient place.

Blizzard released their faithful recreation of the original World Of Warcraft in late August, and people are still going absolutely wild over the nostalgic experience. Everyone loves nostalgia, and this trending dank meme relies heavily on those wistful feelings to drive their joke across. Nerf guns may exist now, but they're not nearly as present as they seemed to be when your old AF editors were in their Nerf-shooting days. Besides the hours of tomfoolery, there's one thing about Nerf guns has always stood out to us: the fact that the darts always seem to disappear. It doesn't matter if you're shootin' them in a big field or a small room with no furniture. The damn things seem to vanish in thin air. We're not sure if it's a conspiracy orchestrated by the Nerf bigwigs or if there's some sort of parallel universe where the Nerf darts are located. We do know, however, that we appreciate r/dankmemes for shedding light on these mysteries. Now we just need a History channel investigation.
