Nothing screams "procrastination fuel" like one of our super-sized dumps of meme-y goodness.
These parodies of Colin Kaepernick's Nike advertisement have become so popular there's a name for the meme-ing: NIKEPOSTING. As the meme has matured, content creators are applying it to super specific, and sometimes nostalic, jokes. And you *know* that includes a Loss edit. Read 'em and weep, y'all.
Nike has gotten into some hot water recently for their new ad campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick. The campaign features a closeup of Kaepernick's face with text overlay that reads, "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything" in light of Kaepernick's controversial kneeling during the national anthem.
Many have praised Nike for the bold move, while many others are completely boycotting Nike's products, or even cutting the logo off of already-purchased Nike apparel. But whatever the stance, most everyone is having a grand ol' time making the situation into memes.
What are your thoughts on the new Nike ad campaign? We'd love to know in the comments!
