We love an easily exploitable meme format, and September's brought us some gems in that department. Our new favorite super-versatile meme has got to be 'Sure Grandma, Let's Get You To Bed'. The trend started on Twitter, but is popping up all over Instagram and Reddit- probably because it can be used in reference to just about everything. Most examples feature the "Grandma" character saying something (like "Netflix used to come in the mail") that sounds extremely hard to believe. The granddaughter character brushes the information off as nonsense, and suggests Grandma needs to rest her addled mind. We've put together some of our favorite examples of the meme, but we're willing to bet you'll find a lot more flying around the meme universe. 

Happy Friday to our friends and fellow lovers of dank memes. This week's edition of The Dank Drop is not the usual hodgepodge of spicy and surreal memes from Reddit. Much of this is due to Donald Trump's Covid-19 diagnosis early this morning. It's also because it's officially Spooktober - which means the r/dankmemes community is absolutely overwhelmed with spooky skeleton memes. While most of the this gallery falls into one of those themes, there are still goodies for people who don't like reveling in Donald Trump's illness and hate October. We're betting that very few people fall into both categories. 

If you don't know what the heck Space Ghost is, it's probably because you're too young - the 1966 show revolves around hero Space Ghost and his sidekicks Jan and Jace, and their monkey Blip as they fight villains in space. One of those villains is Brak, whom the internet has taken a liking to in the form of memes - some of which you can view below!

Graphic designers don't get enough recognition for what they do and we think y'all deserve some memes. Honestly, how many people really even know what a graphic designer actually does? So in case you didn't know, graphic design is discipline of utilizing art and text in media, including magazines and advertisements. The more you know!

We all have situations we want to nope the eff out of: spiders, creepy old houses, swimming in open water. Yeah, no thanks. These dank memes serve as exactly that. Plus, they throw in a some dank and niche internet references.
