Some people just need to be put in their place when they tell straight-up lies on the internet. We would recommend just not trying to bullshit your way through life in order to solve this problem, but it gives us so much schadenfreude-y entertainment that we're not going to do that.

This dank meme plays on the classic trope of the girlfriend who "goes to another school," or "lives in Canada." We all had that friend in middle school who desperately wanted to feel cooler than they actually were, and in a way we don't really blame them - middle school is rough as hell.
Dating is hard as is, but it's even worse when you encounter a total psycho who just can't take a hint. This guy was obviously thirsty so he hit up a woman he went on one date with over a year ago. You can probably guess how that turned out!
These pics range from mildly disappointing to downright infuriating. We've all been in that situation where we open the bag of potato chips and it ends up being only one-third full - these pics play off of that feeling that we all know and loathe.
When it comes down to it, life is all a lie and you should just never trust anyone.
There are some people in the world who just can never take responsibility for their actions. Everyone is always out to get them and they're always being "wronged" in some way. Can't possibly be that they're the one acting like an a-hole, right?
This particular dude, "George," left a scathing Yelp review after he visited an axe-throwing facility and claimed that the employee serving his party was acting in a discriminatory manner toward his friend. After the manager replied to his review, it was immediately evident that "George" left out a pretty good chunk of the story!
We've all been fooled by someone else's bullsh*t at one point or another - and we're kind of ashamed to say that some of us get fooled regularly as adults too. But even so, we can rest assured that we're not one of these Twitter users who believed some pretty outrageous things!
The three Golden Rules with regard to lying are as follows: if you're going to tell a flat-out lie, a.) at least make sure you can deliver it convincingly, b.) lie about something worthwhile, and c.) make sure no one can easily fact check you on that sh*t!
These lying liars apparently didn't get the memo, and as a result they got rightfully called the eff out!
