...Have "more opportunities" they said.
Well, we can safely say that we've never seen a more savage high school graduation speech!
Congratulations, grads! You're now entering the real world, which means you'll be enjoying some delicious instant noodles daily and crying over countless job-application rejections!
In all seriousness though, congrats on your achievement- getting through school isn't easy and we really wish that college graduates were more appreciated in our world today. You know, with jobs and stuff...
Seniors, we totally get you. We get you so much that it hurts, because we've all been there. You're in the very last stretch of your last semester of school (maybe ever) and you've already passed all your classes, so what's even the point of going to school anymore? Sometimes you just gotta leave a permanent mark so that everyone remembers you, and what better way to do that than with a clever senior quote that screams "I don't give a f*ck?"
Whether or not you enjoyed your high school experience, you were probably infected by the senioritis bug at some point - some of us earlier than others. Unfortunately we definitely weren't clever enough to write anything cool for our senior yearbook quotes, but luckily these kids filled that void with some serious snark.
Cara Koscinski was outraged when she received a censored graduation cake for her son Jacob, who has a 4.79 GPA. Koscinski, who ordered the cake from Publix in South Carolina, intended for the cake to say, "Congrats Jacob! Summa cum laude class of 2018," but Publix apparently considered the word cum to be too profane for a cake and censored it with several dashes.
As a result, Koscinski says she was forced to explain the word "cum" to both her son and her 70-year-old mother, who were humiliated by the ordeal.
