We all have our trashy moments in life, whether it be getting a little too drunk at your distant relative's wedding or becoming so lazy that you let your car become a literal dumpster, but some people are truly next level pros at bringing the trashiness. It seems like you have to achieve a certain degree of shamelessness in order to channel the garbage person within, and these people have certainly tapped into something impressively cringe. Hopefully these posts will make you feel better about those personal low points you'd love to forget. 

Well, we've got a new candidate for Time's person of the year. Or at least the badassof the year. We just don't know their identity. 

In a move that can be described as "sick," "dope," and "really f*cking cool," an impatient driver in Daytona Beach, Florida, decided to take a risk and drive over a rising drawbridge instead of waiting with all the sheep who would prefer to abide by the law. The spectacle was caught on camera, and seriously looks like something out of an action movie.

While we were hoping this daredevil would come out of this scot-free, the stunt was not well-received by police, who believe they've identified our new hero. Though this may be the most talked about instance of Evel Knievel-ry, it seems like jumping over drawbridges is a "Florida Man" trait. A motorcyclist made the dramatic leap last month, and we've even seen footage of a dude running over a bridge with JUST HIS FEET. It's true that these shows of cojones are dangerous and sometimes deadly, so while we're celebrating this instance of success, we must urge you not to try this yourself. Thanks to the videos below, you can enjoy the thrill (and some entertaining reactions) from home. 

We've asked this before and we're gonna ask it again: what the actual f*ck is in Florida's water supply? Like, is it some sort of radioactive sh*t? Florida Man might as well be the name of a superhero at this point - a superhero that does absolutely nothing useful but entertain us.

Though it's been a while since we last covered the antics of "Florida Man," the meme is still very much alive. Just take it from President Barack Obama, who namechecked the meme during his speech at FIU this past Saturday. After criticizing the current president's penchant for insulting his opponents and suggesting people inject bleach, Obama proceeded to roast Donald Trump:

"That's not normal behavior. Florida. You wouldn't tolerate it from a coworker. You wouldn't tolerate it from a high school principal. You wouldn't tolerate it from a coach. You won't tolerate it from a family member. Florida man wouldn't even do this stuff."

While some may find the joke to be a tasteless mockery of Floridians, most of us know that the meme is in good fun. Who doesn't enjoy reading about ludicrous, imaginative crimes that almost seem fake? Sensitive dullards, that's who. The news is consistently flooded with wild, crazy, and often depressing tales of dumb criminals committing very strange crimes. And they all have one thing in common: They're from the Sunshine State. 

We've been itching for a new object-labeling meme, and we're happy to report there's finally one on the scene. Earlier this week this photo of a kid holding fire in front of an amazed teacher started popping up around Reddit's myriad meme communities, and its blown up to a point where we've got enough of the memes to share with you. The memes generally revolve around impressing someone with something stupid or shocking, so they're pretty damn versatile - and pretty damn funny. 

We hadn't really thought about it, but it turns out that hippies and Karens have something in common. They both tend to subscribe to the dubious powers of crystals. And this meme ripped from Rick and Morty is more than happy to call them out. 

The meme features a scene from the show in which Morty becomes the owner of a crystal that shows its possessor how they will die. Morty becomes obsessed with the stone's vision of his demise, and at one point, utters "I do as the crystal guides." It's the perfect quote for a joke about people who will blindly believe or follow something, and its success is pretty evident from the variety of memes that have come from it.

Florida, this is why we can't have nice things. You just keep effing it up for the rest of us good law-abiding citizens who just want to go about our days without reading 150 ridiculous headlines about whatever Florida did this time. Totally kidding, we love reading about the weird sh*t that goes on there so keep it coming!
