Prequel, sequel, and originals fans can all unite with this gallery of Star Wars memes - there's something in here for everyone. And if you're craving even more, eBaum's World has you covered! You won't regret it.
If you feel like the weight of the world is crushing you, it's probably time for you to take a break. We're of the mind that nothing really matters, but even if there are things you care about, these memes will help lighten your spirit. "Me time" can be whatever you want, even mindlessly scrolling through funny pics until you fall asleep.
Well, we've got to add this one to the list of meme mashups that seriously surprised us but work extremely well. The photo used for the meme is from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, a scene during which Mace Windu confronts Emperor Palpatine. In this meme, however, Palpatine is replaced by a very unthreatening image of Wallace from the Wallace and Gromit series of movies. The juxtaposition is hilariously absurd, perfect for self-deprecating memes. We've put our favorites in this gallery, but you can read more about this meme over at Know Your Meme.
If you couldn't tell by now, we always love a good prequel meme, and this one, featuring Darth Sidious with unlimited power, is our favorite at the moment! It's certainly not new by any means, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining.

The final installment of the Skywalker saga has been met with near-universal contempt, but Twitter is particularly miffed over one especially dumb line. In The Rise of Skywalker, pilot Poe Dameron (played by Oscar Isaac) explains to resistance fighters that "Palpatine somehow returned." The very vague statement, which provides absolutely no explanation, is really all we get for the context of an important villain's return. People on Twitter have been roasting the shoddy storytelling to no end, and it's pretty entertaining.
The final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released yesterday, and damn, we are feeling some feels. The intense trailer left us with chills and watery eyes, but many Star Wars fans are more preoccupied with a shot of a soaking wet Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) approaching Rey in a moody and stormy standoff scene on wreckage of the Death Star. To say that people are acting thirsty would be an understatement. While we don't see the appeal, the thirst isn't hurting anyone. You can read the mouth-frothing tweets and watch the trailer below.
There are some memes that just NEVER get old, and Star Wars memes (whether they're prequel or sequel memes) definitely fall into that category. These examples are particularly dank, with some extra fresh memes mixed in. Chances are that even if you're not the nerdiest fan, there will be more than a few jokes for you to chuckle at.
May the fourth be with you! For some people, every single day is Star Wars Day. This is definitely true for the memers over at r/prequelmemes. The Reddit community churns out Star Wars prequel content like a well-oiled...droid. Most of the memes, like these fresh posts below, are very, very, very dumb. And that's the way we like it.
