Elizabeth Olsen Conquers 'Hot Ones,' Spicy Memes Ensue

If you aren't familiar with the YouTube web series Hot Ones, it's not quite product placement, it's more like celebrity placement—where movie stars are placed in a strange world ruled by hot sauce. Jokes aside, the concept is pretty brilliant. Celebrities must answer host Sean Evans' spicy interview questions as they eat progressively spicer hot wings. Typically, the guests start to lose their cool midway through, but recent Hot Ones guest and WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen absolutely killed it

By the tenth wing, Olsen voiced some slight discomfort but didn't even break a sweat. She truly is the strongest Avenger. Olsen's Hot Ones episode has been viewed 2.8 million times since it was published and the fans have had a blast meme-ing stills from the video on Twitter. Keep scrolling to see what the Wanda stans are saying.

Marvel's WandaVision is easily the most popular show streaming right now about a scarlet witch of vaguely defined powers living inside a vintage sitcom with her dead husband, an android named Vision who used to be Robert Downey Jr.'s robo-butler named JARVIS. Second on to The Crown, probably. We don't know, we haven't seen it. But the weird thing is, everything we just described is actually an extremely simplified version of Scarlet Witch's comic book adventures. If you think the show is perplexing, your head might explode upon learning that if you dig deep into the comics' canon... it's pretty messed up. So let's go ahead and do that.

'WandaVision' Trailer Is A Trippy First Look At Marvel's Disney+ Series

Marvel fans finally had something to celebrate yesterday when Marvel Entertainment released the first trailer for the Disney+ WandaVision miniseries yesterday. The series doesn't have an official release date, but the colorful, zany, and surreal teaser gives us much to be excited about. The show takes place after Avengers: Endgame, and Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return to their roles as Scarlet Witch and Vision. Vision, according to the trailer, is still dead at the hands of Thanos - which suggests that much of show must take place in some kind of fantasy world. Perhaps it's all in Wanda's brain. If that's the case, we don't blame her. The way 2020 is going, living in an imaginary reality sounds pretty great.

The trailer has mostly been met with positive reception, especially concerning the show's star-studded cast - which includes Kathryn Hahn, Randall Park, Kat Dennings, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Between the talent, the gorgeous imagery, and rumors of a cameo from Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, we couldn't be more excited. Let's just hope the release is soon. We need all the quality television we can get.
