This is some bleak imagery.
Just weeks after news of Mr. Peanut's "death" rocked the internet, a tweet announcing Goofy's demise has gone viral. Disney fans can rest easy, though - the tweet comes from a Disneyland parody account run by @pjayevans, who runs "Who Is?" show on Now This News. While we're not down with this new fad of killing off iconic characters and mascots, the tweet has garnered some pretty entertaining responses on social media. We just hope the account doesn't meet the same fate as the lovable Disney dog.
Well apparently Millennials are now killing the ...shuffles cards... procreation industry! According to an angry mom on Facebook, anyway, who posted about how much she hates entitled Millennials who dare to go to Disney World without kids! The horror.
New York Post later followed suit when they published an article titled, "Sorry, Childless Millennials Going to Disney World is Weird." Was the article posted mainly rile up a bunch of pissed-off Millennials? Probably, but at the same time it clearly worked!
Disneyland went straight Worldstarhiphop on Saturday when a wild brawl broke out between feuding family members. The fight, which occurred at the bustling Toon Town area of the park, lasted a whopping five minutes and involved an impressive cast of characters. Passerbys were shocked to see men and women being struck down until Disney security, who took eons to respond, arrived to cool the situation down.
Twitter user @KassieMe made a viral flow chart of the parties involved, and updated the internet with the action (very little) that had been taken in the wake of the brawl. Many people are admonishing the police and the Disneyland park for their apparent inability to take action in this matter, especially considering there were innocent children involved. You can view the insane video, and the best reactions, below.
Canine Companions for Independence is an organization that pairs highly trained service dogs with people with disabilities at no cost. Recently, some of the dogs got to go on a field trip to Disneyland in order to practice their patience and attentiveness in a challenging environment!
It might have something to do with having to wear gigantic, clumsy costumes for hours on end. Just a thought.
