Smug fitness influencers often do a great job of making normal people feel bad about themselves rather than inspiring them to pick up the dumbbells, and the lengths they go to can sometimes seem completely unnecessary. In a video shared recently, Overtime showcased a man with a ridiculously extreme regime, including lifting weights while being punched in the stomach and jumping onto treadmills at 20 miles per hour.
While the exercise looked undeniably grueling, many people started to question the thought process of putting yourself through it. There's avoiding laziness and then there's making up for something. One thing's for sure, getting jacked doesn't have to be this straight-up dangerous.
