We've been counting down to Halloween since September, but we're finally in the home stretch. October is a wonderful time of year. Kids are back in school, the weather slowly starts getting a bit colder, and the leaves are in the midst of turning 50 shades of red, orange and yellow. That and hordes of costume-garbed sugar-crazed mini monsters pounding on the door demanding more and more sugar to feed the incoming diabetic coma.
