Lawrence Kansas Police Department Tackles Coronavirus With Humor

Most people are already aware of the hilarity of the Lawrence Kansas Police Department's Twitter account. Their blunt yet funny way of delivering basic messages, like "Don't do crimes" has gained them somewhat of a cult status on the internet. And their response to the Coronavirus outbreak is predictably on brand. In addition to imploring that people wash their hands, the police department also provided Twitter with a thoughtful reminder that people should not be hoarding supplies like toilet paper and ground beef.
