Katie Thurston's Bachelorette Premiere: The Best Memes, Tweets & Reactions

Bachelor producers dropped a huge bomb on fans when they announced that not one, but two of the contestants who had vied for Matt James' heart were chosen to be Bachelorette. Bachelor Nation was thrilled that the world would be able to see both Katie Thurston and Michelle Young go through their own public searches for love. Thurston's season premiered last night, and the two hours of insanity definitely lived up to her own wild entrance.

For those of you who may not remember, Katie was the contestant who marched up to Matt James and presented him with her vibrator, saying that she wanted him to take the place of her trusty quarantine companion. While Bachelor has been slowly ramping things up in the sex department (Windmill sex, anyone?) this was probably the most forwardly sexual entrance we've seen yet. That sex positivity has clearly carried over to Katie's season.

During the episode, Katie was very explicit in her desire for a partner who doesn't shy away from sex stuff - even adding that her family would be hard pressed to approve of a suitor who's shy about entering the bedroom. Judging by the episode's introductions, this attitude (and her vibrator stunt) influenced a lot of men to get incredibly dirty with their greetings. One contestant, Cody, even tried to one-up Thurston by presenting her with a blow-up doll, explaining that it was his answer to her vibrator.

For all the sexy talk, many fans on Twitter expressed confusion (and delight) that producers decided to stir the pot by throwing a conservative virgin into the mix. But that wasn't the only aspect of the show that got meme'd. Other goofy contestants got the meme treatment as well. While some were mocked (Connor, the wholesome math teacher who spent the evening in a cat suit), Greg Grippo seems to have stolen the hearts of Bachelor Nation's Twitter contingent. Greg, the youngest of four children, presented Katie with a very special gift - a pasta necklace made by his three-year-old niece. He was rewarded with a very aggressive makeout session. Maybe this is an instance in which the nice guy finishes first? Whatever his fate, all we know is that the craziness got us pretty pumped for next week's episode and the inevitable drama. These memes and reactions might get you pumped, too.

Best Bachelor Memes & Reactions From Last Night's Premiere

Last night's Bachelor premiere introduced Pilot Pete to thirty ladies who were thirsty for love - and probably fame. Going into the episode we have to admit we thought it would be boring. But the producers manage to pack a whole lot of twists, turns, and  laughs into the marathon three hour premiere. The most dramatic moments of the night were tied into the return (or multiple returns) of Hannah B, the Bachelorette from Alabama who blindsided Pete by sending him home not long after a prolific tryst in a god dang windmill!

While the producers of the show seem to have worked some of their black magic to reel Hannah "Roll Tide" Brown back in, we're honestly rooting for the bold and sassy Tammy. Judging by Peter's behavior, however, the final rose will probably go to Hannah A. or Madison, who received the first impression rose and the first one-on-one date, respectively. We can speculate all we want, but as we wait for next week's drama, we're content to scroll through these memes and tweets.

Sean Spicer Was A Neon Nightmare On Dancing With The Stars & Twitter's Having A Field Day

ABC's been receiving a whole lot of political flack for hiring former Press Secretary Sean Spicer for Dancing With The Stars, but after watching the performance we think the flack should be regarding the visual terrorism we were subjected to last night. Spicer stutted onstage with congas sporting a garish neon blouse, and we're pretty sure the fabric of reality burst at the seams. Especially because he chose to dance to the Spice Girls' classic "Spice Up Your Life." Twitter seems to have felt similarly about the flabbergasting performance, and has not been quiet about it.

Gems Of True Wisdom From Our Hero, Ron Swanson

NBC's beloved Parks and Recreation has been off the air for nearly five years, but some things last forever. Ron Swanson and his wisdom are pretty much immortal in our book. Instead of whining about the state of television and the demise of our favorite show, we take solace in these quotes from the burly man's man that is Ron Swanson. Nobody's been able to make being a misanthropic breakfast-lover look so damn good.

Funny quotes and bits of wisdom from Ron Swanson.

All The Best Memes & Reactions To Last Night's Epic Fence Jumpin' 'Bachelor' (SPOILERS)

The moment that all fans of 'The Bachelor' have been waiting for finally happened last night - the fence jumping moment that has been teased since episode 1. While we still have a two-night finale to look forward to, a whole lotta drama happened (and we can expect more during tonight's edition of Women Tell All).

First, Tayshia and Colton shared a romantic helicopter ride to a dreamy cliffside castle, where the pair made a lot of virginity jokes. Despite a lot of ogling and even a nip slip, Colton and Tayshia opted against a night of Fantasy Suite deflowering. Tayshia seemed a bit disappointed, but in the end was just grateful to get to know Underwood a little better.

Next up was Cassie's date. The two seemed to be getting along brilliantly, sharing steamy kisses on idyllic Portugal streets, and goofing off in souvenir shops. The fun stuff finally gave way when Colton revealed that Cassie's father had not given the stud his blessing. Colton was hopeful that the duo could move past a moment that clearly shook Cassie to her core, but matters got worse when Daddy Randplph himself showed up to persuade his daughter to cut things off with the former NFL player. The evening culminated in an agonizing stretch of Colton and Cassie going back and forth, and Colton inexplicably announcing that she's the one he wants to end up with. Cassie eventually decided to dip, which led to the much-awaited fence-jumping. For a moment that everyone has been waiting for, it sure seemed anticlimactic.

As can be expected, fans on Twitter went absolutely wild tweeting reactions, gifs, and even some well-crafted memes in response. Here are some of our favorites.

Roseanne's Bogus Ambien Excuse Is Getting Destroyed On Twitter

As you may have already heard, Roseanne Barr is in hot water over her racist tweets about Obama aide Valerie Jarrett. Earlier today, the star of the now-cancelled ABC show tweeted the following: "guys I did something unforgivable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting -- it was memorial day too -- i went 2 far & do not want it defended -- it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please."

This supposed explanation has struck many as an offensive excuse. Many people, including comedians like Patton Oswalt and Andy Richter, used Twitter to go IN on Barr. Even the makers of Ambien were quick to clap back at her, tweeting that "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication." You can indulge in all the primo shade below.

ABC Cancelled The 'Roseanne' Revival And People Aren't Holding Their Feelings Back

Roseanne Barr has said some pretty shocking things since the reboot of the '90s sitcom Roseanne, but  people were still pretty shocked when ABC abruptly decided to cancel the show after her particularly racist remarks about Barack Obama's former Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett. Roseanne later apologized for her comments on Twitter, but people have very clearly already made up their minds on the matter.
