This Researcher Has Come Up With A Way to Take Pictures Underwater As On Land

Oceanographer and engineer Derya Akkaynak has come up with a breakthrough in the world of photography. During her post-doctoral work under Tali Treibitz at the University of Haifa, she developed an algorithm that can more or less "eliminate the water" from a photograph.

Cancer Cured? An Australian Company Thinks So

What was once a saving grace to halt the scourge of smallpox 2 centuries ago, has now struck again, this time, with cancer. CF33, or Chimeric Orthopoxvirus. US Cancer wunderkind Professor Yuman Fong made the initial discovery, while the Australian company Imugene licensed the innovation and are pushing for human trials starting next year.

Scientists Have Created the World's First Non-Cuttable Material

When we think of the world's "hardest" materials, usually diamonds come to mind. However, Diamonds themselves can be cut by a select few materials, including other diamonds.
