It's Ryan O'Neal from Tough Guys Don't Dance (1987). If you can find a worse one, let us know (other than "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!" from Troll 2).

Tumblr Users Analyze "The Incredibles" To Oblivion

Talk about an Incredible discourse. We can always count on the wandering minds of Tumblr to put their heads together, and churn out some real gems. This particular roundtable discussion centers on the infamous film, "The Incredibles." Maybe one of the best superhero movies of all time. So many easter eggs and intricate patterns throughout the film. The only question is how much of what's being discussed was intentional on the part of the filmmakers vs. pure coincidence?

Tumblr users go all in on a conversation about The Incredibles | silverhawk honestly tho scene incredibles where mr. incredible sees names all old super heroes used be his friends he knew Back Day and every one them has been killed by syndrome is such chilling scene so many reasons like one, everyone he knew is dead at this point and has been killed on same island he's at now and two, its heartbreaking bc means almost every hero wanted try out being hero again despite laws against and wanted try

Things People are Ashamed to Be Fans Of

When a fandom gets too big, it can develop its own set of weird rules and become toxic. All of a sudden you have people who all like the same thing judging each other over certain parts of that thing they like. Sometimes the fandom itself is obnoxious to people who are minding their own business, making it even harder to associate yourself with that thing you like. For a more fun look into fandom, here's a tumblr thread on how Darth Vader is the queen of drama.

'Cats' Is So Bad That Critics Are Getting Rather Creative With Their Reviews

As far as god-awful movies go, first we got Sonic, and now we have...Cats, which will be released in theaters tomorrow.

The egregiousness of the latter was brought to light by Twitter user River Wells, whose tweet about the movie's comically bad reviews went viral. We gotta say though, some of these reviews are so ridiculous that they almost make us want to go watch the movie. Almost.

We're starting to think that maybe, just maybe, producers are making horrendously bad movies on purpose in order to get people to watch them ironically.

Badly Explained Movie Plots That Are Technically True

These funny movie synopses feel totally wrong, but are sort of on point. They read like someone who just started watching movies for the first time badly trying to explain a plot. It's fun to try and think of other movies you can sum up in just a few sentences with crude reductionism. Beauty and the Beast? A young woman makes friends with some furniture and falls in love with her kidnapper. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? Creepy rich guy lures families into a building and kills kids in front of their parents. Inception? A group of colleagues take some epic naps together.

Take a look at some of these hilariously bad (but not wrong) plot summaries, and if you want more funny movie-related content, try this!

Unrealistic Movie Details That Won't Stop Being Annoying

Sure, movies don't have the time to account for literally every plot-independent detail in a character's life. Plus, a 10-hour movie where the main character spends half their time in traffic and on the toilet wouldn't be fun to watch. Probably. But there are too many flagrant and obviously unrealistic movie moments that never get corrected. For some more movie dumbness, here's tumblr uncovering the nine types of movie posters.

Twitter Users Reveal Ridiculous Statements Overheard At The Movie Theater

Remember the days when we could watch movies in the theater without a care in the world? Our biggest worry was which size popcorn to get (large obviously) or where to sit (back row, middle seats, duh). But those days are distant memories, and who knows when we'll be allowed back into theaters. We wouldn't even mind the obnoxious idiots who talk throughout the movie, or who have their phones on loud—just bring back normality, please! Joining us in movie theater nostalgia is writer Mike Ginn, who recently tweeted: "The thing I miss most about movie theaters is overhearing someone say the dumbest f—king thing I've ever heard before the previews start." His tweet went viral, and he received thousands of replies from people, all sharing the dumbest things they've overheard at the movies. What's yours?

28 Dumb Yet Satisfying 'Movie Title In Movie Lines' Memes

Anyone else feel like their meme standards have taken a nose dive of late? Political fatigue and a general contempt for the world seem to have skewed our taste towards the very dumb. This past weekend we were graced by meme that easily meets this very low criteria. According to Know Your Meme, the trend began on 4chan, after a user shared a still of Paul Allen (Jared Leto) in American Psycho. The intentionally miscaptioned still reads  "Patrick, it's you!! You're the American Psycho?!!," to which another 4chan user replies "He didn't say that." After other users chimed in, the thread grew to over 100 replies. And now it looks like it made an impact in the memeosphere.

Following the 4chan thread, the format started to pop up on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Users seemed to be scrambling to create (and share) the incredibly stupid and easy-to-make memes. Even gamers got in on the joke, creating their own versions for releases such as Death Stranding and Final Fantasy. While it's hard to present these memes as the "best" of anything, they're pretty damn entertaining. Here's hoping we see more dumb and easy content in the coming months. This year needs all the help it can get.
