Things People are Ashamed to Be Fans Of

When a fandom gets too big, it can develop its own set of weird rules and become toxic. All of a sudden you have people who all like the same thing judging each other over certain parts of that thing they like. Sometimes the fandom itself is obnoxious to people who are minding their own business, making it even harder to associate yourself with that thing you like. Via Lifetime:

"It's not a wonderful life for Grumpy Cat, the Internet meme sensation with nearly six million Facebook friends! The infamous kitty, with the naturally, but endearing sad looking facial expression, will star in her very own live-action Christmas movie, "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever," premiering this coming holiday season on Lifetime. The movie will be filmed this summer."

Ugh, really? What's she gonna do? Make that face for 90 minutes on screen? Listen Lifetime, after a while, things like this just get lame. Plus there's a high chance that this will just end up like a crappy remake of Homeward Bound, except it stars only Sassy. Nobody wants that.
