Work is hard. That's why we try our absolute hardest to not try our hardest. These moments of quality unprofessionalism spring forth in the form of misspelled signs, messed up products, extremely curvy highway lines and totally useless staircases to nowhere. And we couldn't have it any other way.
Never underestimate the kinds of petty lengths people will go to in the workplace environment to make their power known, or get back at a particularly insufferable coworker. This collection of petty power moves are as impressive as they are just terribly petty.
This certainly brings to mind the old saying about how people don't necessarily leave bad jobs, but instead they leave bad managers. One bad manager can completely upend an otherwise enjoyable gig. Just picturing the look on this manager's face by the end of these employees' time with the company is enough to get the laughs rolling. Dude must've been beside himself.

Someone on AskReddit got a thread going about the various ways that people managed to troll their bosses without actually breaking the rules. You've got to hand it to anyone that puts in the time and effort to troll someone, and manages to pull that trolling off while still playing things by the book.
Listen, we know it's almost a privilege to have a job right now. 2020 has messed with everyone's damn lives. But we don't live in a vacuum, and selling your soul to the capitalist overlords isn't exactly fun. We're still offering our bodies to provide menial tasks so we can (barely) afford the roof over our heads. And these work memes really capture how we feel about it.
People want work done fast, cheap and well. Unfortunately, all three of those are never going to happen at the same time. There are some impressively unprofessional "not my job" moments that slip through when no one's looking. But hey, it's better to get the job done-ish than not done at all, right?
