Miraculously, not a single soldier was injured.

This U.S. Army infantry outpost spotted Taliban insurgents on a nearby ridge, and began engaging them with mortar fire. The soldiers called in a simultaneous airstrike, but some unknown miscommunication caused the pilot to drop a 500-pound bomb not on the Taliban insurgents, but on his own guys. Not only that, the outpost soldiers captured the entire incident on film.
