In case you've lived underneath a rock for most your life, Leeroy Jenkins is the name of a WoW character who famously screamed out his name before charging into battle in a blazing display of unabashed recklessness, only to end up getting his entire team killed in epically ignorant fashion.

Blizzard stepped up and recognized Leeroy's fabled shamelessness several times by rewarding him an official trading card, mini figurine, and even named an achievement after him. See below.

Who might be the man behind this storied moment in WoW gaming history? Meet Ben Schulz, a Denver-based gamer who initially filmed the video with some buddies from college, never thinking it'd go anywhere. Oh, if only you'd known Schulz, if only. After the video had been online for a couple years, Schulz was formally invited to give the keynote speech at ROFLCon (been invited to speak at for three years now). Check out Schulz speaking at Blizzcon below:

Jenkins continues to find his way into various pop culture moments, even truck advertisements. Check out four such instances below. You've probably, definitely seen at least one of 'em before.

And of course, perhaps the pinnacle of Leeroy's widespread fame thus far--The Daily Show mention...Oh Leeroy, we love ya man.

On Thursday when the Overwatch beta dropped, the Overwatch searches back over on Pornhub instantaneously surged by 817%. People were stoked, needed to blow off some steam, I guess.

The company went on to find that 'Tracer' was the most popular search term, amidst the beta release frenzy. Here are some of the other widely searched terms:

And I quote, as posted on their Facebook page over the weekend:

"We have announced today that Black Desert Online will get special butt pose victory animations in the new Crimson Battlefield PvP mode, which was added as part of the Mediah Expansion earlier this week.

"The Crimson Battlefield is an instanced 40v40 PvP mode which can be entered in groups of five or individually. When players emerge victorious, their characters will flaunt their buttocks right before the end results screen appears. The new animations are unique to each class and will be available to both genders."

The first series of butt pose animations will be added during next week's maintenance and will be made available at no additional cost. A wider range of optional butt pose animations will be made available through the cash shop at a later stage."

Alright, Blizzard Entertainment outdid themselves for April Fool's Day..again. Anyone else out there gung-ho to play the living sh*t out of this hypothetical game? Yep. Let's take a quick look at another skullduggerous prank unleashed by Blizzard for this grand day of trickery:

You've got the freshly announced Frostdoge Clan, which in all honesty should totally be added as part of the game for going forwards. Such quest, such wow indeed.

Oh, and the 'reward title' is absolutely sensational:

The cold hard truth of it all is Blizzard Entertainment spawned desired, where there was otherwise none to be had. The only path toward redemption now is to give us this! Happy April Fool's Day, all.
