Magical memes that'll make that boredom disappear into thin air!
Yesterday Kim Kardashian tweeted a photo of her awkwardly posing on a bed wearing the Yeezy Butter 350 shoes, designed by her husband Kanye West. The internet immediately took note of the horribly awkward nature of the photo, which features Kim K flailing on the bed in her underwear, wearing a creepily blank expression on her face.
This pic is just begging to be made fun of, so people have been photoshopping and meme-ing it like crazy, and we're not mad about it!
Since its May 5th release, Childish Gambino's video for 'This Is America' is being hailed as a work of astute political art. Its imagery is a bold attack on racial discrimination and violence in the United States, a rollercoaster ride of singing, dancing and relentlessly random violence. Amidst all the critical praise and examinations, the oft-controversial media site Vice published a piece begging the internet not to meme the video. By publishing this piece, they essentially ensured that Donald Glover's art would unapologetically receive the royal meme treatment.
Following the publication of the Vice piece, communities such as r/memeeconomy and r/dankmemes immediately created backlash memes in response. Along with the usual object-labeling memes and niche memes, memers started creating examples that specifically attack the news site. While there are plenty of people who agree that the video should not be taken lightly, Vice has essentially proved that no subject is too taboo for Reddit abuse.
