Regular dogs do not belong everywhere. I was riding an incredibly crowded subway this weekend, and a pug was sitting in one of the seats. Service animals are a wonder. It's incredible that we've been able to train domesticated animals to save the lives of people who need assistance. While it's truly amazing that people struggling with physical and mental illnesses or disabilities can receive assistance from a service animal, this thread points out just how easy it is to fake these needs to abuse the system. And unfortunately, it happens all the time. I'd wager that many of the people you see on the subway, in restaurants, at bars…
