Grocery Store Sensors "Summa Cum Laude" And The Reactions Are Absolutely Priceless

Cara Koscinski was outraged when she received a censored graduation cake for her son Jacob, who has a 4.79 GPA. Koscinski, who ordered the cake from Publix in South Carolina, intended for the cake to say, "Congrats Jacob! Summa cum laude class of 2018," but Publix apparently considered the word cum to be too profane for a cake and censored it with several dashes.

As a result, Koscinski says she was forced to explain the word "cum" to both her son and her 70-year-old mother, who were humiliated by the ordeal.

The financial article claims that by 35, people should have saved at least half their salary. As expected, the sassy Twitter backlash was swift, and it was very, very funny.
