In a desperate bid to diversify themselves from the Old White Guy demographic they've had a stranglehold on for so long, the NRA is launching an 11-part web series called Noir, in which co-hosts Colion Noir, "urban gun enthusiast," and Amy Robbins, who probably just missed final cut for the cast of Fox & Friends, shoot the s**t (see what I did there?) about guns using painfully scripted dialogue that would make any campaign ad writer blush. Hotbutton issues include:
- Why can't I get a gun in the color I want?
- The gun that fits YOUR lifestyle!
- Ernest Hemingway swag (seriously)
So sit back, pour yourself a glass of your favorite Kentucky whiskey, and watch and wonder how they fit that many product placements into 15 minutes of show time.
